Our client is an international oil trading MNC which is very stable and established. It is based in town. For this role, you are part of the back office/ ops department and you report to the COO/ back office mgr. Key functions: Trade Settlements/Physical & Derivatives Ensuring Aspect (MTM system) inputs from Operators are correct before inputting into Mint GBS (Accounting system). In future, direct entry to Aspect Input settlement basing instructions from Operators, verifying with Third Party documents eg B/L, Cargo nominations, Contracts Price calculation to Counterparties Payment to Suppliers, Owners, Surveyors and others; Invoicing to Customers with correct GST codes/Issue (Letter of Indemnity), LOI, Warranties of Titles, LC negotiations Daily Paper inputs Settlement of Paper Trades with OTC/Exchange Settlement of Trade charges done on ICE Window Monthly P/L reconciliation of Paper Trades Preparation of monthly reports Verifications of new Vendors' bank accounts or change of bank accounts To ensure funds are remitted correctly, prevention of fraud cases Insurance On line application for Storage Tanks and Cargoes Maintenance of Data Base in System Registration of new counterparties /commodities /segment /updating addresses Letter of Credits (LC) and all LC related matters (Import & Export LC) Secure internal LC line, establish Import LC in favor of Suppliers; On line application in banking system, LC amendments, confirm details/acceptance of Export LC Counterparties Registration Data collection, filling up of Forms and providing all documents that are required PCG Applications Bills of Lading Endorsement of Bills of Lading Despatch to Counterparties Miscellaneous Support Traders by compiling data on trades reported on RIMS/Tender submission Demurrages-chasers to counterparties Handling Auditors Custom Clearance Declaration/Export License Application Any other duties assigned by Traders/Operations Manager/Operators Requirements: -Min 3 years of related back office / ops experience gained in a commodity trading firm -Added exposure to supporting oil trading (physical and derivatives) is useful but not a must -Process oriented and detailed. -Has good people skills To apply, please send your cv in word doc to [email protected].
