My client is a world renowned local bank with a growing presence over 160 countries With their expansion, they are looking for a dynamic individual to join them as Reconciliation Associate.
Job Description: - Perform reconciliation of GL and statements items in Consumer Banking products and Nostro accounts across all entities
- Investigate outstanding items in Nostro accounts and follow-up with Nostro agent banks via SWIFT/emails
- Work closely with Business Units to resolve outstanding items in Nostro accounts
- Perform weekly escalation of outstanding breaks and unapplied funds to respective Business Units
- Perform return of unapplied funds via SWIFT
- Perform monthly GL Account Ownership signoff for account balance substantiation and highlight aging breaks as of month end to Business Units
- Daily reconciliation SLAs are to be met for both Nostro and Non-Nostro Reconciliation.
Job Requirements: - Possess at least a Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, Banking or any related field
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in related field
- Possess knowledge in accounting principles
- Proficient in MS Excel (Pivot table & Vlookup)
