Job Responsibilities Your key roles & responsibilities include:
- Managing projects and ensuring the completion of all processes and tasks as a project manager
- Leading members and vendors, when necessary, to complete all tasks as planned and as required
- Managing projects, which includes resolving issues, controlling vendors/resources/budgets/schedules, and preparing reports to Management and Head Office for approval if required
- Designing applications, if required, or helping members/vendors design applications to meet user or system requirements
- Coordinating all processes to ensure that these are progressing smoothly for users and developers/vendors, as well as for external parties such as industrial parties, internal legal parties, auditors, and the compliance division in the Bank
- Maintaining Windows/UNIX platform hosting in Singapore and accounting system in Japan under the supervision of our Head Office in Japan
Job Requirements What you should have: - A Bachelor's Degree
- At least 5 years of experience in the Banking system, with a focus on project management
- Knowledge and experience in VB.Net (or Java and C#) and Oracle (or other RDBMS) on a Windows-basis will be an advantage
- Knowledge and experience in Windows 2003/2008/2012 server, VMware technology, or network administration will be an advantage
- Banking Domain knowledge will help the candidate perform successfully in this role
- Prior exposure to system development and/or the planning and development/management of IT and systems control will be an advantage
- Strong interpersonal as well as verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively across all levels, are attributes that will help the candidate perform successfully in this role
- Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese, as the incumbent is required to read and understand documents as well as respond and present in these two languages
