Responsible for the overall design of application solution that meets the customer's business environment and objectives to create unique value propositions to the customers
Study and analyse the tender specifications or requirements and understand the customer requirements
Plan and coordinate with the various parties on the schedule and submission of proposal timeline
Monitor and track the schedules for the various tender proposal submissions
Prepare and review the tender proposal write-up by the various teams especially with solution architect and product teams to ensure that the solutions can integrate and meet the requirements
Prepare and review business processes and compare them against alternative solutions proposed by standard software packages (“best practice” approach
Prepare and review the cost, benefit and risk of multiple alternatives
Prepare and review the tender clarifications with the team
Convince the customers to buy-in during the solution proposal presentation
Provide pre-sales delivery of technical consultancy services to our customers on a global basis
Provide presales technical/functional support to sales teams in their engagement with prospective customers
Coordinate with the subject matter experts in various domains to ensure the solution fit the customer's requirements
Prepare and review the product capabilities, and features as to whether can meet customer's needs
Prepare and review the alternatives on competitive offerings to justify technical suitability of the company's products and services in meeting customer's requirements
Prepare and review the product and services effort, schedule and cost etc. for the tender or proposal bids from the partners or internal teams and negotiate for a competitive price
Prepare and review on the delivery and integration of the proof of concept and pilot projects
Brief the delivery project team to ensure successful transition from presales to deployment
Deliver enablement sessions to organization's presales to help articulate organization's service offerings and solutions and comparatively position with competitor's solutions
Develop and continuously improve on the materials available for enablement sessions to ensure quality and relevance
Maintain reusable components to facilitate selling process and ensure consistency in quality of services promised to our customers
Contribute to competency enablement throughout the community in organization on a global basis
Develop and manage a group of individuals to be part of the focused competency community. This enhances organization's ability to support the growth expectations of the business, and continually build the image and success of the organization's brand
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
Typically 6- 8 years' experience with in-depth knowledge of business domain and software development and is in abreast with evolving technology capabilities
Preferably with 2-3 years' experience in providing business solutions and/or pre-sales support,
Possess in-depth knowledge of current technologies, tools, methodologies and industry trends in the country
Certified in appropriate technologies is an added advantage
