This is a 6 Month contractual function to cover Maternity Leaves.
From 12th Aug onwards.
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: » In charge of accounts payable functions for Products, Freights, demurrage costs, insurances and product related commission costs.
» In charge of Bank reconciliations
» Assist in AP ledger review
» Year end audit works KEY TASKS AND Job responsibilities:
» everyday process and follow-ups of email invoices for Products, Freights, Miscellaneous, war risks, Demurrages and product related commission invoices.
» Perform validation checks on all invoices’ essential information against our trading system – Symphony
» Highlight any discrepancies to Operations team & Risk team on any amendments require in Symphony system against invoices. Also, to do follow-ups with them.
» Obtain approvals from authorised personnel
» Prompt vouching of invoices in Symphony trading system for Products, freights, miscellaneous costs and commission costs after approvals
» Check and ensure that all vouched invoices are posted into accounting system before passing to Trade finance for payment arrangements.
» Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
» Ensure monthly invoice applications are carried out correctly in the Dynamics system
» Covering urgent payment tasks for team mates and ad hoc task assigned from time to time.
» Assist in interim and year-end audit samplings and preparation of audit confirmations REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB
Qualifications and practice
» Diploma in Accountancy/ CAT/ ACCA
» Minimum 3 years post Diploma related working
» Knowledge and Skills » Proficient in MS Office Word and Excel
» Attributes » Keen to lgain attitude
» Good interpersonal skills and able to work with different internal stakeholders
