Our client is a global multi-disciplinary consultancy who is best known for their complex building projects around the world. As part of the structural buildings team, you will be given the opportunity to work on projects that would shape Singapore's skyline. An experienced Structural Engineer at the Principal/Associate level is now required to come on board to lead a team of 8-10 C&S Engineers in technical and project delivery. You must possess excellent communication and strong emotional quotient in this heavily focused client facing role.
Responsibilities - Develop and review detailed design work across a broad range of building projects, particularly in mixed development
- Project management, relationship management and related business development activities
- Communicating and liaising effectively with colleagues and architects, subcontractors, contracting civil engineers, consultants, co-workers and clients
- Lead and supervise tendering procedures and putting together proposals
- Adopting all relevant requirements in maintaining rules and regulation,
- Assessing the potential risks of specific projects, as well as undertaking risk management in specialist roles;
- Overseeing the work of junior staff or mentoring C&S engineers
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- A PEB recognized Degree in Civil Engineering and/or Masters in Structural Engineering
- Those with Civil Professional Engineer status in Singapore highly advantageous
- Have performed detailed design from pre-tender stage through to construction and handover on at least one full cycle mixed development/office project in excess of SGD 300 million
- Between 10 - 15 years' Singapore project experience
- Knowledgeable in consulting and technical experience and managing key projects, including experience in managing large teams of Engineers & site staff
