Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION Our Client, an internationally renowned and acclaimed organization within the people-moving, heavy machinery sector is currently seeking MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN for their Escalator Business Unit. A global leader in its right with a right history of the industry, the prosperous candidate is expected to lead the Business Unit in achieving and exceeding all Site KPI functions and to possess the aptitude in leading a cross-functional team
» Provide quality competence support to the maintenance organization by solving technical issues identified on equipment
» Spreading and sharing technical expertise and know-how in all servicing and maintenance issues through the organization
» Be involved in call-out resolution and in complex technical issues resolution
» Interact with Maintenance and Service divisions to ensure all responsibilities are met and adhered to
» Interact with customers, end-users, technical support, stock keepers and inspectors/consultants for proper fulfillment of servicing and maintenance functions
The ideal candidate must have at least a Diploma/NITEC in any Engineering or Civil discipline with at least 1-3 years of prior practice serving within the Lift/Escalator/Elevator industry. You are expected to have strong practice in a similar function with good expertise of current practices, codes of conducts and procedures. You must have a good command of spoken and written English and be assertive and confident in nature.
