Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION Our client is embarking on an exciting growth phase and due to this positive development, there is now an opportunity for seasoned senior finance professional to join them in this newly created function as Chief Finance agent
Job Description - Establishing annual budgets and presenting to the Board for approval while controlling for deviations and corrective actions where necessary
- Working to optimise profitcapability, margins.
- Ensuring sufficient liquidity support for the company needs, negotiating loans with global & local banks
- Leading restructuring projects as well as M&A initiatives related to finance, tax & legal due diligence
- Ensuring legal and tax compliance as well as correct corporate governance controls in all subsidiaries
- Partnering the senior management team in supporting the growth of the business both organically and inorganically.
Job Requirements - Degree in Finance/ Accountancy with demonstrated track record gained in CFO or business finance leadership abilities functions
- Ideally you should be a degree qualified CA/CPA and have a minimum of 15 years significant commercial practice, of which the last few must be in a CFO/Head of Finance capacity.
- Prior practice in M&A will be preferred, others with significant practice are welcome to apply.
- You are commercially oriented and able to articulate the strategic agenda of the business into executable, operational plans.
- Operationally hands on and strategic in mindset, you are a strong business partner with deep analytical capabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills enable you to effectively engage both internal and external stakeholders.
