Human Resources leads the implementation of the Group’s people strategy in line with business objectives. It facilitates talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as a Head of Performance and Reward, Singapore.
Principal responsibilities Lead the direction and management and oversight of the Performance and Rewards function in Singapore
Provide strategic guidance on performance management and reward consultancy to senior management in business and support functions
Drive market leading reward management and related Human Resources policy strategies within the business to attract, motivate and develop the best employees and to enhance overall business performance
Work closely with the country stakeholders to develop and maintain an annual plan on performance management initiatives to meet business objectives
Review, formulate and design proposals for reward and benefits policies, pay reviews, performance-related incentives and programs
Examine reward policies and procedures to achieve internal equity, consistency, transparency and cost effectiveness in retaining and motivating employees
Interpret and influence all compensation and benefits practices relating to expatriates, and understand employee relations impacts
Enable underperformance management within the context of the country employee relations environment
Keep abreast with, knowledgeable in and abide by legal and employment legislations within Singapore
Manage and support the Board and sub-committees of all subsidiaries on remuneration matters
Prepare and coordinate regulatory responses on remuneration matters for disclosure and submission
Encourage synergy, foster teamwork, and promote sharing of best practice in the Performance and Reward community Qualifications
Requirements Education to degree level or above in an Human Resources related field
Advanced knowledge in Compensation and Benefits with a strong numerate background
Expertise in compensation models, policy development, analytical reasoning and problem solving skills
High degree of strategic leadership and management ability, including motivating and influencing employees in the wider organisation
Familiarity with the Employment Ordinance and relevant laws, and the scope of application
Knowledge and experience with Employee Relations advantageous
Broad knowledge of the external regulatory and competitive environment
High level of drive and motivation to ensure delivery of a broad range of outputs simultaneously
Fluent in English and proven ability to articulate complex issues concisely and in clear language
