Summary of Responsibilities - Dedicated Customer Service & Specialist for APAC Transportation
- Key Contact for APAC freight quote and project cost estimation.
- Contact Logistics Companies for rates and schedules; enter logistics-related data into databases and maintain databases of logistics information and records in conformity to corporate policies.
- Develop Freight Tools and structure transportation/logistics information for internal support teams and Logistics Providers to efficiently execute and handle all courier/air/ocean shipments.
- Lead and monitor logistics activities to ensure its execution in conformity to service requirements or project specific timeline.
- Freight claims processing and documentation.
- Review and improve on Logistics Providers KPIs monthly/quarterly/annually.
- Analyze freight spend and cost drivers.
- Collate figures and statistics, input data into excel template producing reports for top management.
Qualifications and Requirements - Degree or Diploma in Logistics/Transportation Management with minimum 2 years of international/regional freight practice.
- Proficient in MS Office – Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- Good knowledge of APAC logistics and knowledge of different transportation/shipping modes.
- Good communications and collaborative skills with different individuals across the organization and geographies.
- Self-driven individual with strong organizational and time management skills with capability to work under minimal supervision.
- Possess sharp analytical, strong solution solving and negotiation skills.
- Customer-oriented attitude, initiative and creative.
Reporting to Transportation Manager, the responsibilities and function of Transportation Analyst will cover across Asia Pac region.
