JOB DESCRIPTION Job responsibilities:
» Perform hands-on testing on metals.
» Responsible for attending to and managing clients' enquiries, testing requirements and specifications.
» Ensure all assigned testing are carried out strictly in conformity with the test procedures and test methods.
» Prepare, interpret and compile reports for all testing assignments.
» Support the Department Head and other team members with their job assignments when necessary.
» Monitor all testing activities and coordinate technicians/other staff in equipment scheduling and site deployment to ensure smooth commencement of work.
» Maintain strong relationship with all existing customers and continuously pursue business opportunities with them.
IMMEDIATE CHALLENGES:
» To be familiar with the operation and policy procedures of the company.
» Familiarise with common test standards and specifications used by Oil & Gas Industry.
» Perform testing and documentation independently without compromising efficiency.
Requirements: » Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Material Science from a recognised institution.
» Able to multitask and highly proficient at work.
» Able to work independently with minimal supervision, and work under pressure
» Proactive and has the “can do” attitude.
» Able to lgain and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
