Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION My client is a global agricultural commodity trading firm and is seeking a strong credit analyst to join their diversified and high performing team. The ideal candidate should have practice in credit approval and reviewing SME clients.
Key Responsibilities » Perform independent credit assessment and provide credit recommendation
» Advise business units on client credit needs
» Advise business units on complex credit transactions and assist in negotiating and structuring of credit terms
» Conduct client visit and assess risks appropriately
» Manage risk mitigation for assigned platforms
» Perform credit reviews and monitoring of existing limit
» Assist the regional credit manager in improving local processes
» Keeping abreast with the market developments and risk matters
Requirements » Degree holder
» Minimum 5 years of credit risk assessment or approval practice
» Strong knowledge of commodities trade flow
» Working practice in commodity trading house will be advantageous
» Prior knowledge in credit tools (eg. Bloomberg, Moody's, S&P, D&B, credit networks) would be advantageous
» capability to work closely with the front office team
