Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION » Data Analytics – builds tools to extract data from disparate sources and model Information technology to discover useful information that the business may need. Creates interactive visuals and dashboards for the business to understand the data to make strategic business decisions.
» Manages sourcing and purchasing of Chemicals, MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operation) Materials, equipment and Plant services.
» Proactively engages stakeholders in identifying, selecting and approving new material suppliers. Leads the Supplier Qualification processes and maintains Approved Vendor List.
» Drives implementation of global/regional initiatives and processes. Collaborates and communicates effectively across different functions and regions to realize procurement goals and objectives.
» Negotiate with suppliers and contractors for the best possible terms and conditions.
» Performs commodity chemical studies and market trend to optimize the spend.
» Generates and reviews weekly, monthly Purchasing reports. Develops “Source to Pay (S2P)” metrics to track process effectiveness, efficiency and costs.
» Resolves unique and complex problems on process improvements and changes across multiple functional groups.
» Clearly communicates technical and business detail with the stakeholders.
» Makes a positive contribution as a team member on complex assignments and projects.
To Qualifiy you must be:
» Degree or Diploma in (Engineering, Supply Chain, Information technology or Business)
» 2-3 years’ practice in procurement or supply chain operations.
» skills in advanced data analytics using Power BI and MS Access / Excel.
» Proficiency in Structured Query Language, predictive analysis and data mining will be a plusJob location: Jurong Island
