Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION Job responsibilities:
» Manages a broad range of moderately complex supply chain processes in supplies planning.
» Identifies opportunities for process improvement and develops recommendations.
» Independently executes the demand and supply matching activities, connecting planning to execution, and identifying issues and their impact.
» Drives backlog management.
» Coordinates or leads internal team to maintain and enhance the current business processes.
» Conducts post mortem and reviews performance metrics on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement.
» Communicates requirements and guidelines to the regional and global business unit planning teams.
» Mentors junior-level staff.
» End to end purchasing activities : from PO placement, monitor & action (pull in / push out), follow up and update latest delivery status till dock SG warehouse
» everyday review overdue supplies delivery and within 1 week delivery
» Replenishment of PO to cover forecast
» Monitor & make assessment on supplies situation (@ factory; @ WW)
» Aging FG pull validation
» Re-boxing of damage box
» Site rebalance of supplies whenever required
» Timely dispose non-useable materials
» NPI setup
» Resolve supplier invoicing issue
» Handle returns to supplier
» Roll up weekly escalation list
» Attend weekly conference call with WW on supplies shortage
» Update or create new documentation for process Education and practice Required
» Degree with equivalent practice
» At least 5 years of practice in performing a buyer function Knowledge and expertise Required
» Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain processes (plan, source, make deliver)
» Strong written and verbal communication expertise (mastery in English and Mandarin)
» Strong interpersonal expertise, fast learner and capability to multi task
» SAP know how
» Good knowledge of China custom regulations
» Developed Microsoft Office expertise (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and other analytical aids to help manage the operation
» Demonstrated business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.
» Moderate level of knowledge of inventory analysis
