Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION Our Client, a US MNC is now seeking for a Procurement & Subcontracts Manager . This is a newly created function where the incumbent will execute all procurement and sub- contracts activities with an emphasis on technical and engineering CAPEX supply to maximize efficiency and minimize cost of organization’s procurement efforts.
function & Job responsibilities: • Proactively and continuously work to establish an ever- increasing vendor resource pool with an emphasis on developing a favourable preferred and standardize vendor pool.
- Proactively and continuously work to negotiate reduced price purchasing agreements with vendors across all standard product lines
- Assume management of bid tabs and levelling sheets
- Draft and maintain vendor subcontract agreement templates and MSA’s
- Support project management with planning and tracking of procurement activities, cost budgets, spending and saving forecasts
Requirements: - Degree in Technical Engineering with 10 years of significant practice in procurement and subcontracts administration.
- practice with material planning systems (MRP/ERP) requirements
- Strong knowledge of procurement and subcontracts surrounding production planning, scheduling, purchasing, supplier selection, inventory control, logistics and stockroom operations.
- Wastewater, Chemical processing, Oil & Gas systems practice preferred
- practice with International land, air and ocean transit logistics as well as customs documentation management
- capability to work in a high energy, start-up-located environment and multi-tasking.
