Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION KEY Job responsibilities:
» Survey and analysis of ground foundation.
» Responsible for the production of design solutions and drawings, covering a range of project requirements from new build to modification, maintenance, refurbishment, foundation design and coordinating civil or structural engineering with geotechnical assessment.
» Ensure rock slope stcapability, excavatcapability and earthworks material acceptcapability assessments are collated, construction supervision for geotechnical works including large scale earthworks, piling, soil nailing, rock bolting, and tunnelling.
» Analysis and design of retaining walls for deep excavations with single and multilayer struts, cantilever contiguous bored pile wall, pile foundation, mat foundation, PIT test, instrumented pile load test and technical report writing.
» Responding to the contractors needs with respect to geotechnical queries and constructibility/program driven design changes.
» Supporting colleagues or directly managing project scoping, design, contractual or financial management. income:

- Civil Degree
- 5-10 years practice from a main contractor / consultancy background would be ideal for this function also.
- Must have worked on infrastructure & building projects
- Must be fully conversant with the following software: PLAXIS 2D/3D, ETAB, SAFE, AutoCAD, MIDAS 3D, STAAD Pro.
- Good communication & interpersonal expertise
- Highly self-motivated, good working attitude with a high level of professionalism and integrity
- Good team player and adaptable to a dynamic environment
