Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION The WSH Coordinator shall assist the S.O. / SOR to ensure that the Contractor for each works contract under the Project complies fully with the requirements of the WSH Act & Regulations, including the requirements for the Contractor to:
Responsibilities » Identify and assess any unsafe condition in the worksite or work practice therein.
» Recommend reasonably practicable measures to remedy the unsafe condition or work practice; and
» Implement such reasonably practicable measures referred to in sub-paragraph. Requirements
» prosperously completed the significant training courses approved by the Commissioner for Workplace Safety and Health to equip him to become a WSH Coordinator and is competent to execute the functions and tasks of a WSH Coordinator.
» The WSH Coordinator shall have at least 2 years of practical practice significant to the work to be performed by a WSH Coordinator in works of engineering construction.
