The Schedule Manager is tasked with the overall programming of the project plan and ensuring that the milestones of the projects are achieved. He or she will also be responsible in recommending risk-management strategies.
Responsibilities: - Developing the project master plan and monitoring it throughout the project, with the aid of Primavera P6
- Responsible for the overall scheduling and cost control - ensuring that the project progresses in accordance to schedule, with lean cost
- Provides professional advice with an independent analysis of project cost and schedule data
- Schedule risk management and providing updates to clients about the present and projected risks, as well as providing professional advice to mitigate these risks
- Manage multiple contractors and developing the logistic responsibilities of these contractors
- Works closely with the client to represent them in their best interests
Requirements: - Min Degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
- Min 10 years experience in project management, including at least one infrastructural projects (e.g. aviation or transport systems) from end to end
- Knowledge and highly experienced in using project management software such as Primavera P6.
- Experience in developing an integrated master schedule and establishing schedule hierarchy requirements and setting contract schedule requirements
- Professional memberships and affiliations such as PMP, CIOB and APM will be highly advantageous
- Prior experience in a consultancy field working on international projects will certainly put you in a good stead.
- Excellent communication skills in English - able to communicate and engage with stakeholders of every level
- Effectively bilingual will give you an added advantage
