Key Roles and Responsibilities: - Supporting the cost team in feasibility studies and preparing relevant reports
- Cost estimation and developing the final cost plan
- Advice on the tendering and procurement process and manage the screening process
- Compiling the tender report and compiling the contractual documents
- Ensuring that the bid is accurately and comprehensively documented
- Valuation and cost checking for larger-scale projects
- Suggest innovative ways to improve on cost management processes and putting it across to the appropriate stakeholder
- Effectively manage any variation orders in terms of its cost and engage in relevant change management
- Preparing monthly post-contract cost reports and reporting the margin levels to the client
Requirements: - Min Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Project Management, Civil or Mechanical Engineering
- Min 7 years working on projects, with the last 5 years working on costing.
- Prior experience in a consultancy field with experience in mechanical and electrical (MEP) or civil structural (CS) packages and international experience will be preferred.
- Professional memberships and affiliations such as RICS, CIOB or CIArb will certainly put you in a good stead
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English
- Able to engage in negotiation and discussions to represent the client in their best interests
- Effectively bilingual will give you an added advantage
