Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION Job responsibilities:
- Serves as the focal person of customer on issue-resolution or other required services. Leads regular meetings with the customer, service team and sales team.
- Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet goals and schedules
- Provides supervision and guidance to Service Engineers performing the technical tasks onsite
- Manage customer requirements including coordinating site activities (i.e. schedule, manpower, tools/equipment) and maintain engineering records, and generate standard service reports. Collect and review productivity of all other engineers onsite (timesheets and/or trainings)
- Align service and sales objectives, including assistance in preparing repair and upgrade estimation, and support in preparing proposal to customers
- Ensures compliance of workplace safety rules, including but not limited to the usage of a personal protective equipment, if provided to you, while working; not involve in any unsafe or negligent act that may endanger peers or oneself; reporting unsafe work conditions and providing suggestions to improve safety/ health at work, as needed.
Requirements:
- Degree in Automation/Engineering or other Engineering degrees
- Minimum of 12 years’ practice in process control or process engineering in at least of the following process industries: hydrocarbon processing, oil & gas (onshore/offshore), Life Science, specialty chemicals, pharmaceutical or food and beverage.
- Should have minimum of 5 year of practice in leading and managing team
- practiced with DCS, PLC, or SCADA systems.
- Exposure to discrete and continuous or batch controls, PC located MMI, Advanced Controls, Fieldbus or field instrumentation.
- practiced in control system configuration, third-party equipment integration, startup of process control projects, or continuing system maintenance/support
- knowledge of instrumentation and configuration tool, Software knowledge is advantageous
- Good verbal, reading and writing expertise.
- Knowledge on safety practices and procedures.
