Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION Seeking a HR Generalist to provide operational support to the full spectrum of HR functions in the College, and function as the subject matter expert in talent acquisition, new hire on boarding and HRIS. In support of the College’s effort to streamline our People processes and improve employee practice, the incumbent will also be expected to lead and drive projects as assigned that relate to his/her area of responsibility and skills.
Talent Acquisition & New Hire Onboarding
- Administer the full life-cycle recruiting for assigned employee segment
- Business partner hiring managers and search committees on position descriptions, advertising, candidate sourcing, pre-screening, coordinating the interviewing process, and other related search processes
- Deliver an outstanding candidate practice, ensuring high engagement and communication from first outreach to new hire on boarding and orientation.
- Providing metrics and reporting to ensure the continuing success of talent acquisitionHRIS
- Establish, maintain and control employee record in the HRIS and other systems
- Responsible for setting up the new hires in the HRIS and other systems
- Ensuring timely update, accuracy, completeness and confidentiality of employee records (such as Personnel e File, Leave, Training amongst others) in the HRIS and other systems
You should possess:-
- significant HR practice,preferably in a higher learning institutions
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Communications skills
- Able to work independently
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.
