Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities
» Setting gauges and preparation/ issuing of inspection sheets and gauging procedures
» Perform incoming check and verification of raw materials, customers supplied materials, sub-con operations and instruments ? Dimensional verification
? Hardness check
? Mill Certificate Verification
? VTI
? Short term rental gauges
» Perform final check on finished parts and routers/ documentation/ inspection sheet ensuring compliance to licensor’s/ customers’ requrements
» Conduct scheduled everyday phosphate titration test and monthly coupon test
» Perform threading inserts verification
» To raise Non-Conformance/ Incident Reports on discrepancy discovered
» To conduct internal process audit
» Responsible for maintaining the integrity of gauge room
» Responsible for ensuring work is carried out in conformity with documented procedures Requirements
» PM/ NITEC/ Diploma in Mechanical/ Precision or related Engineering discipline
» Min 1-2 years practice in QC visual/dimensional inspection and testing, preferably in a machining/ manufacturing environment
» Meticulous and detailed and capability to work well in a team
» Office hours (8am to 530pm), may need to do rotating shift (730pm to 5am + OT) when required
