Job Description: Plays an important supportive role in assisting the Product Manager with contracts and vendor relationship management in the hotel and tourism industry.
Responsibilities: - Sourcing, contact and initiate business relationships with external vendors / operators
- Review and co-ordinate the signing of contracts agreements with external vendors
- Liaising, coordinating and maintaining strong working relationship with vendors
- Negotiate / liaise / monitor rates and promotions provided by vendors on regular basis
- Support Product manager which includes and not limited to sourcing for value add suppliers, audit checks of products
- Assist with marketing activities such as pricing product and promotional materials (brochure development) where applicable
- Identify the customers' needs and wants and create attractive packages for customers
- Monitor product performance / developments
- Assist Finance & Operations to resolve disputes in inventories / rates
- Any other systems upgrades / projects directed by Product manager
Qualifications: - Diploma in E-commerce or travel/tourism would be preferred but general diploma is acceptable
- General e-commerce and marketing experience is preferred, along with a marketing/business oriented education
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Stellar in writing and speaking
- Experience with FMCG is an advantage
- Experience in travel and land products is an advantage
- Experience in contracting and negotiations is an advantage
