Our client , is a leading player in the Travel Industry Job Description Supportive role in assisting the Product Manager with contracts and vendor relationship management. Contact hotels and other tour product operators to initiate a business relationship Maintain strong working relationships with vendors Understand the needs and want of relevant customers and customer segments Liaise with hotels and other tour product operators for rates and promotions as required Co-ordinate the signing of contracts with hotels and other tour product operators Monitor rates provided by vendors on a regular basis and initiate re-negotiations where applicable Create packages that would be attractive to customer Assist with costing such packages and designing promotional material where applicable Assist with pricing products and packages where appropriate Monitor product performance and room utilization for vendors within your portfolio Ensure relevant information on product status are updated to the selling platform (e.g. renovations, closure of certain facilities etc) Monitor new product developments in own area of charge and make recommendations to Product Manager Assist Product Manager in audit checks of hotels and tour operators performance Assist Product Manager to source for value adds suppliers Assist Product Manager with brochure development Assist Product Manager with any systems upgrades or projects Assist Operations and Finance departments to resolve disputes regarding inventories, rates etc Provide training to new staff Requirement Diploma .preference in business, ecommerce and/or travel/tourism areas. Min 2 years experience in contract negotiations and administration and vendor relationship management.
