As a Senior Finance Analyst - FP&A at Travelport, you can thrive in the exciting world of Travel Tech.
Role & Team
You will come on board at a truly exciting time, and as a member of the Finance team, you will play a pivotal and crucial part in acting as Act as Financial Business Partner for APAC Commercial Team, understanding of monthly results and handling budgeting and forecasting.
This role will involve - Review, create and lead the GDS P&L planning process to conform with the planning/forecasting cycles the company adopts.
- Consolidate and provide meaningful variance analysis and reporting (i.e. actual vs. prior year; actual vs. budgets etc).
- Management of Commercial interface into the planning process. This includes working closely with the Decision Support members and Commercial managers to understand the impacts on Volumes, Revenue, Cost of Revenue, Market Share, Opex etc.
- Ad hoc reporting and project work as required
- Liaison with SSO during month end and review metrics with the team for the close process. Must have experience/exposure to technical accounting to be able to vet centrally processed journals.
- Ensure timely & accurate month end close by working with Shared Services.
- Provide monthly variance analysis and relevant reporting slides to each SLT member and the appropriate Cost Centre managers
- Analysis and presentations required for Monthly/ Quarterly/ Budget reviews
- Good presentation skills as occasionally required to talk through results with the central finance team.

You; - Strong business acumen & ability to read and understand legal contracts
- Able to demonstrate working in a business partnering type role
- Self starter with initiative and the ability to communicate ideas effectively
- Practical and proven experiences in an accounting environment
- Good interpersonal skills, and an ability to tailor their approach to deal with different levels of management
- Strong team player demonstrating maximum flexibility
- Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment
- Adaptability to a fast moving and changing environment
- PC literacy requiring strong experience in Powerpoint & Excel. Hyperion & Oracle - beneficial
- Analytical
- Must be fluent in Chinese speaking, reading & writing.
- Recognized Accounting Qualification (CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
- 5+ years in Financial Planning & Analysis with exposure to senior management
