Purpose of job: - Work with Regional Offices and Singapore stakeholders in-market and in Singapore to deliver greater impact on STB's outcomes.
- Lead a new market from Singapore
Main Responsibilities: * New Markets:
- Lead Officer for exploratory markets in Asia (such as Laos and Mongolia) where the Officer will undertake a full range of marketing and business development based in Singapore [with trips to the market(s)].
- 2nd officer for Myanmar where the officer will work with the Lead Officer for Myanmar.
- HQ Officer for about 3 key visitor source regions (Indonesia, Malaysia and Europe) with primary responsibility to align the Singapore travel and tourism stakeholders (including destination management companies, airlines, hoteliers etc) for these markets with STB's HQ and Regional Offices' efforts, especially in areas of familiarisation trips, networking sessions, roadshows and trade updates. Please note that the market portfolio could change over time. Officer will have to work closely across HQ line units such as Marketing Group and Experience Development Group as well as Regional Offices on these market initiatives.
- Lead key initiatives such as the Muslim Visitor Segment with relevant Regional Offices and STB HQ line units.
- Project manage key initiatives such as WOW ideas for the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions segment with relevant Singapore stakeholders and STB HQ line units.
- Project manage selected travel tradeshows.
- Other division related work as assigned.
Requirements: - At least 3 years of relevant working experience
