Purpose of job: Work with Regional Offices and Singapore stakeholders in-market and in Singapore to deliver greater impact on STB's outcomes.
Main Responsibilities: * Lead officer for 1 to 2 Emerging Market(s) where Officer will undertake full range of marketing and business development. This officer would oversee Cambodia. He/she is to develop plans to materialise strategy and analyse business proposals.
- Desk officer for 2 to 3 key visitor source markets with primary responsibility to align the Singapore travel trade ecosystem (including destination management companies, airlines, etc) for these markets with STB's HQ and Regional Offices' efforts, especially in areas of familiarisation trips, networking sessions, roadshows and trade updates. For a start, it is envisaged that the Officer would oversee 3 markets of Thailand, Vietnam and Philippines but market portfolio could change over time. Officer will have to work closely across HQ line units such as Marketing Group and Experience Development Group as well as Regional Offices on these market initiatives.
- Project manage key initiatives to bring efficiency and synergies to market support work. For example, management of Familiarisation Trip team and division's budget and financial matters. This officer has to align processes and resource planning with overall strategy.
- Other division related work such as market access and organisation of global travel trade shows and IG planning work such as analysis of global trends, market changes and regional development.
