Position Summary Reporting to the Head of Sales & Brand Partnerships - APAC, the Sales Director will be responsible for driving sales and brand partnerships in the Southeast Asia Region with focus on Singapore and delivering revenue growth to meet annual targets. He/she will lead and manage both client and agency relationships to build the VICE brand and capabilities in the SEA markets and seek new revenue.
Key Responsibilities - To prospect, build and generate new business and maximize client retention in Singapore and SEA, working closely with agencies and direct clients to exceed revenue goals across VICE's core digital, print, experiential and custom content platforms
- Commercially driven with a passion for prospecting, influencing and closing sales deals in a complex media environment
- Relevant experience in digital sales and branded content sales for regional clients
- Key focus on government, tourism, airlines and such clients around the region
- Develop creative integrated sales proposals, to package content across platforms to meet clients' marketing and brand objectives
- Proactively expand a defined account list, pitching new businesses and responding to RFPs
- Develop and strengthen long-term relationship with advertising agencies and clients
- Co-ordinate with Client Servicing team, ensuring contractual obligations are met on event campaigns and broadcast sponsorships
- Prepare and present revenue and budget forecasts and reports
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and internal weekly status meetings
- To undertake such other tasks including general administrative duties as may be required

- CRM & Sales Pipeline Management
- Project Management
Qualifications - At least 8 to 10 years of media sales experience managing Singapore & SEA markets
- Senior level relationships with Singapore & SEA media agencies and direct clients
- Thorough understanding of digital media and content marketing landscape including video, mobile, social, display, programmatic and experiential
- Proven sales track record in selling digital and custom content
- Results-oriented and self-driven
- Ability to conceptualize and deliver creative solutions with a focus on storytelling for multiple screens
- Self-motivated and energetic in taking ownership of client projects
- Ability to handle heavy workload, mediating demands and requests with strong problem-solving drive.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and confidence in presenting ideas with impact
- Great interpersonal skills, with a strong team builder and team player ethic, allied to an ability to relate professionally within all levels of the organization
- Good understanding of the advertiser budgeting and pitch cycle. Well versed with the creative pitching process
- Demonstrates good grasp creative concepts and measurements metrics for branded content and sponsorship deals
