Job Description Duties/Responsibilities:
Functional Scope of Work: Market and sell Singapore EXPO Convention & Exhibition Centre & MAX Atria as a multi-purpose venue for exhibitions, conventions, seminars, concerts, and other events. As a hunter for sales, you will drive the identification, outreach, engagement and securing of the quality business events.
Business Development: You will need to understand market trends, needs and identify potential partners/ sales channels to develop business plans and strategize for business collaboration by actively contacting potential partners to explore opportunities. There will be cold-calling to identified markets or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
In addition, you will meet potential clients by growing, maintaining and leveraging network. You will also organise business developments events and leads solicitation functions e.g. Overseas Sales Calls, tradeshows, webinars.
Job Requirements •Bachelor Degree in Business and/or Hospitality and Tourism preferred
- Minimum of 3 years sales experience with proven track record in similar role
- Deep passion for sales and service oriented
- Ability to "think out of the box" and innovative solutioning skill
- Excellent interpersonal, written and spoken communication skills
- Meticulous, detailed, resourceful, independent and good team player
- Strong negotiation and problem solving skills
- Willing and able to work long hours, when required
- Able to travel overseas, when required
