Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION » Market and sell Convention & Exhibition Centre as a multi-purpose venue for exhibitions, conventions, seminars, concerts, and other events. As a hunter for sales, you will drive the identification, outreach, engagement and securing of the quality business events.
» Business Development: You will need to understand market trends, needs and identify potential partners/ sales channels to develop business plans and strategize for business collaboration by actively contacting potential partners to explore opportunities. There will be cold-calling to identified markets or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
» You will also organise business developments events and leads solicitation functions e.g. Overseas Sales Calls, tradeshows, webinars.Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Business and/or Hospitality and Tourism preferred
- Minimum of 3 years sales practice with proven track record in similar function
- Deep passion for sales and service oriented
- capability to "think out of the box" and innovative solutioning skill
- Excellent interpersonal, written and spoken communication expertise
- Able to travel overseas, when required
