Purpose of job: In our effort to champion tourism growth, STB manages a portfolio of assets and infrastructure that enables experiences and concepts to come to life. The Asset Management (AM) team is the custodian of the asset management policy and provides central oversight of the risks associated with, and the performance of assets that STB maintains.
Main Responsibilities: As a member of the AM team, you will be tasked with both: * Policy and planning responsibilities, including reviewing the asset management processes in STB to ensure a more consistent approach to managing assets across the Board;
- Day to day operational responsibilities, including advising line unit teams in their appointment of facilities management vendors to carry out the actual maintenance of assets and infrastructure.
Requirements: - Good interpersonal and communication skills. You would need to engage various line unit teams within STB to understand their asset management needs.
- Good appreciation for policy making, policy implementation and process improvement work.
- Good analytical and thinking skills.
- Good understanding of facilities management practices and standards.
- Experience in estate / building / facilities management or in managing estate / building / facilities management contracts preferred.
