Responsibilities Responsible for providing leadership in Group Technology & Networks for security design and review processes, as well security consulting expertise.
Responsible for the development and maintenance of Group Technology & Networks cybersecurity policy, standards and frameworks.
Works closely with Group Technology & Networks stakeholders to ensure compliance to Cyber Security policy and standards, including monitoring of compliance.
Identify cybersecurity risks from internal system and material vendors impacting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the organisation, perform threat assessments of identified vulnerabilities and define solutions to improve the cybersecurity posture to protect the GTN assets and its ability to perform its mission and objectives.
Work closely with GTN stakeholders to align cyber security governance to maintain balance between service capability and management of cyber security related risks.
Leads the Group Technology and Networks Network Security team, both in Singapore and Australia, ensuring compliance to local regulatory requirements, engaging internal groups, including but not limited to Networks, IAR, Legal and Group Risk
Leads and works with Group Technology and Networks organisations to align and comply to the Singtel Group policy, standards and frameworks – as set by the Cyber Security Risk Committee.
Liaises with Group Risk and the Cyber Security Risk Committee to ensure Networks compliance to organisational policies.
Communicates, oversees, localizes and executes technical implementations of security solutions required to meet business local objectives.
Delivers expert level security engineering advisement and consulting to GTN teams and personnel in order to implement 'security by design' for infrastructure, programs and projects.
Works closely with Group Technology and Networks teams and other functional area specialists to ensure adequate security solutions are in place throughout all systems and platforms to mitigate identified risks sufficiently, and to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements, including the Telecommunications Cyber Security and Broadcast Cyber Security Codes of Practice.
Utilises and suggest improvements to the business, information and technical artefacts that constitute the enterprise information security architecture and solutions.
This leader will have a virtual reporting line to the Singtel Group Cyber Resilience team, focusing on leveraging Group knowledge whilst aligning Group Technology & Networks to the Singtel Group Cyber Resilience team goals, objectives, policies, standards and framework.
This role is to provide senior leader level enterprise consulting to business leaders and able to work under extreme pressure and tight deadlines in a calm and collaborative fashion leading from the front.
This role is accountable for ensuring that security infrastructure operations handling the cybersecurity defences remain current and relevant. Coordinating the security standards, strategies and responses across Group Technology and Networks will be crucial.
Look across Singtel Group and externally to identify tools, processes, frameworks and standards to improve Group Technology and Networks’ cybersecurity risk position
Perform the role of secretariat for Group Technology and Networks Security Committee.
