Senior/Principal Geospatial Engineer (Underground Geospatial Information Modelling)
SLA Geospatial & Data is leading the geospatial technology exploration and implementation that provide insights, greater convenience and better services for our Smart Nation and the Future Economy. It is an exciting challenge to develop the underground geospatial data model to enable whole-of-government data fusion and analysis across domains. Job Scope - Broaden the technology opportunities in the field of BIM and 3D GIS developments
- Produce and deliver underground 3D models using BIM and other 3D engine modelling
- Data modelling design and assessment for underground 3D GIS systems
- Working with stakeholders on underground geospatial data quality and inter-operability
Requirements - Qualification in the areas of Computer Science, Software Engineering, Geospatial Science/Technology or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of industry experience in 3D modeling, geospatial database design and management.
- Familiar with 3D Engines, GIS, Open Geospatial Standards, CAD drawings.
- Good knowledge on underground object and location detection technologies (e.g. photogrammetry, GPR, EM) is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, problems-solving, and good team player.
