Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION Job purpose
Job holder provides administrative and finance support to the Department of Microbiology and Immunology.
tasks and responsibilities » Tracking and recording of expenditure
» Verify staff and students' claims
» Verify CTA and pCard transactions
» Perform month-end closing, year-end closing and management reporting
» Quarterly reporting of outstanding debtors and POs
» Follow up on late payments
» Procurement function for laboratory and office supplies
» Manage and update grant information
» Reception and mailing tasks
» Perform other ad hoc tasks as and when required
» GCE 'A' level or diploma in finance/business
» Preferably with at least 1 to 2 years of working practice
» Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
» Able to work independently, is proactive and attention to details
» Good communication and interpersonal skills
