Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION Information Technology - Design Thinking Consultant
Job Description We are seeking for a talented and visionary Lead UX Designer in an important cross-functional function, working with our business and Information technology teams to work on and design the best user practice for a range of software products - spanning customer facing channels, internal applications supporting customer services and back office operations.
A technology-savvy and inspirational individual, you will engage in a very hands-on way with an array of platforms and technologies in multi-discipline teams. You will have the capability to induce human centred design approach and design thinking methodology in the research and design of the best user practice and supporting business processes to enhance customer journeys and employee journeys through adopting advanced digital technologies in an effective and innovative manner.
Job responsibilities: » A Subject Matter Expert in UX and Design Thinking: You will be assigned work on key projects or products as UX lead and/or design thinking coach/facilitator
» Defining and designing interfaces, practice and processes across multiple platforms to enhance the customer journeys and employee journeys
» Collaborate with business, product management and software development to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, practice, and processes
» Conduct user research to guide product decisions and evaluate design uscapability and effectiveness
» Working with senior internal stakeholders to continue to build capcapability, internal cross-team relationships, and help take our capcapability to the next level
» Operate as a hands-on practitioner or coach to prepare and facilitate UX project and research plans, run workshops, create personas, journey maps, concept sketches, systems design architecture, wireframes, etc.
Required expertise
» Degree in IT, engineering, design or social sciences and digitally savvy
» Minimum 5-year relevance practice and a compelling portfolio of past work, showcasing a wide variety of UX design results
» Strong capability to communicate, collaborate, coach and inspire others with an exemplary UX design capability and outcome driven.
» broad practice in participating in, and/or leading multi-stakeholder research, and uscapability studies, recognising important insights and translating them into compelling UX concepts
» An expert in all applied UX skill and software from wire-framing to various prototyping techniques across analogue and digital platforms
» practice working in an Agile/Scrum development process
