We represent a global market leader in the Healthcare industry, owning some of the world's most advanced research and laboratory centres, with growing sales & revenues (multi-million dollar revenue) and a strong working culture. Their unique pipeline of products makes them one of the most compensateing employers to work for. With their on-going expansion plans in the Asia-Pacific Region, We are pursuing a Legal Counsel to provide legal support to all of the business divisions in Southeast Asia.
You will be involved in: ? Providing accurate and business-oriented legal support and solutions in areas such as commercial issues, privacy, competition and consumer law, dispute resolution/litigation and labour issues
? Preparing, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts
? Assisting legal colleagues in resolving legal issues on cross-functional projects
? Representing the company externally to customers, suppliers, competitors or government agencies, negotiating and using legal skills to resolve legal issues
? Advising senior legal management of significant project developments /matters in a timely manner
? Leading and coordinating area and local projects and communications
To be considered, you must meet the following criteria:
? A Law degree from a reputable university in a Commonwealth country, with a minimum of 10 years PQE
? Called to the Bar in at least an ASEAN jurisdiction or in the UK / US or Australia
? Track record in dispute resolution
? SEA skills in supporting regional businesses, instructing and managing external counsel
? Strong knowledge of corporate commercial, competition and privacy laws
? General practice in Intellectual Property
