JOB DESCRIPTION Job Mission:
» Ensure our product works reliably and consistently for our customers Job Job responsibilities:
» Applying our test strategy / test process to the product
» Writing and executing test cases and plans
» Using manual and automated techniques to test the product
» Using and updating test tracking and execution tools
» Providing input into test reports and summaries
» Liasing with the development team to explain issues discovered
» Identifying common failure / faults and feeding into the continuous improvement process
Key Competencies: » Excellent expertise of software testing
» Eye for detail
» Agile Software Development Process practice
» The familiarity of exploratory testing techniques
» Manual and Automated Testing practice
» Test Mangement and Tracking Tools (e.g. JIRA / X-Ray)
Optional expertise:
» Web development technologies (e.g HTML / CSS / JavaScript)
» Database query languages (e.g. SQL)
» C# / VB.Net / C++
» JIRA / GIT
» Selenium, Soap UI, Post Man
» practice in various non-functional testing activities (performance, load, security)
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
At least 2 year(s) of working practice in the related field is required for this position.
Strong English language expertise both spoken and written required
