Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION 1.1 Supply Assurance (for assigned product portfolio)
» Continuously monitor and ensure product supply of assigned product portfolio to represented markets
» Proactively identify supply risks by updating supply outlook
» Drive communication and resolution of supply issues with stakeholders using standard processes (e.g. e-alerts, weekly calls with market/plants)
» Escalate risks to AMP Supply Manager and Regional Supply Leads as needed (located on urgency, impact, complexity…)
» Proactively understand demand drivers and supply implications from forecast changes
» Partner with AMP Supply Manager to drive:
» Resolution of escalated risks with stakeholders
» Resolution of escalated issues in Supply chain agreement (SCA)
» Changes in transportation mode
1.2 Inventory management and deployment (for assigned product portfolio)
» Develop inventory targets and budget for assigned products
» Drive continuous optimization of inventory and working capital
» Analyze inventory performance versus budget and develop action plans to achieve targets
» Perform root cause analysis of inventory deviations vs. targets and of inventory drivers and define improvement plans
» Minimize inventory write-offs. Monitor and manage inventory shelf-life/expiry dates, and actively improve processes to avoid obsolescence write-offs
» Ensure in market inventory is actively managed and expired or short dated stock is appropriately, securely, compliantly and expeditiously disposed of on a physical and financial level
» Develop and negotiate SCA (supply chain agreement) with stakeholders
» Coordinate pre-shipment and support post-shipment issue resolution with Intercompany Operations(I/O) or market teams as required
1.3 Product change management (for assigned product portfolio)
» Proactively and continuously support product change activities (new launches, line extensions, Artwork changes, discontinuations, loss of exclusivity etc.) securing achievement of business objectives, service levels, costs and working capital requirements
1.4 Point of contact for Sites
» Serve as point of contact to manufacturing sites for any questions related to supply issues, resolution plans, inventory for assigned set of products
1.5 Improvement initiatives
» Own and drive completion of supply or other improvement initiatives
» Lead projects of a lager scope and complexity
1.6 Share Accountcapability with AMP Hub Senior Planning Manager
» Serve as a backup for the Senior Planning Manager in her absence
» Provide assistance to help roll up team’s input for consolidation as needed
Requirements: » Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics Management
» APICS training/ certification preferred
» Minimum 12 years working practice in Supply Chain related fields (planning, scheduling, procurement, logistics, customer service or demand management) with at least 5 years’ practice in planning function, preferably in the pharmaceutical/ chemical industry with good knowledge of regulatory processes.
» Possess good knowledge of APAC regional distribution center logistics and local country/market logistics and legislation to optimize efficiency and cost
» Demonstrates strong Project Management skills
» Demonstrates strong capcapability in ERP systems, data analytics and business objects reporting tools
» Possess strong analytical skills with practice in handling complex issues systematically
» Proven capability to effectively coach team members including guiding new or junior team members
» Demonstrates strong capcapability in engaging people at all levels, including senior leadership abilities
» Demonstrates high agility working in a complex matrix organization and within a multi–cultural environment
» Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of portfolio of products and manufacturing plant capabilities
» Demonstrates strong business acumen and knowledge of Sales/Commercial/Marketing and dynamic interactions with the Supply Planning functional areas
