Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION Job responsibilities:
» Analyze and conduct Structured Problem Solving (FTA, 8D, A3) on automotive products such as Instrument Cluster, Heater Control Panel, Secondary Display, Head-Up Display and/or Combiner Head-Up Display.
» Develop problem analysis compared with customer requirement, design verification and plant/supplier production process and quality validation.
» Working closely with design engineers, SQM, Plant Quality, Customer Quality (including CCE and Resident Engineers).
» Responsible for definition of re-test, re-validation and measurement technology applied to define confirmation of quality of product.
» Identify improvement measures and recurrence avoidances.
» Support other disciplines in problem solving analysis.
» Prepare engineering quality reports, lesson learnt documentation and yokoten implementation.
Requirements: » Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years' practice in product development and structured problem-solving activity.
» In-depth expertise of product design, plastic injection molding, metal stamping, die cast & manufacturing processes (assembly, end of line test etc).
» Strong expertise of design analysis and tolerance stack calculations
» expertise of secondary processes such as plating, vacuum metallizing, in-mold decoration, spray painting, hot stamping, silk screen & tampo printing, optical bonding, laser welding etc.
» Good attention to details and able to lgain independently in a dynamic environment.
» Team player with good communication expertise and agility.
» Self-motivated with a strong passion for problem solving and customer service.
» Customer-oriented and able to work systematically under tight schedules
» Willing to travel for customer meeting, field test, work attachment and training
» practiced with Toyota and Daihatsu or other JOEM product quality management will be an advantage
» expertise of Design for Six Sigma
» Other languages proficiencies (Japanese)Proficiency in modelling software CREO/Pro-Engineer/CATIA systems.
