You will be part of the team that is responsible for the operation and maintenance of a waste-to-energy facility. You will assist in the following:
» Operation and maintenance of a waste-to-energy facility
» Manage a team of technical staff and coordinate maintenance work between contractors and maintenance sections to ensure the safe, smooth and efficient operations of the waste-to-energy facility
» Implement preventive maintenance and overhaul programs for the facility's electrical and control equipment such as turbo-generators, motors, switchgears, low tension and high tension equipment, distributed control system and filed instruments
» Analyse the performance and causes of unscheduled shutdown of boilers and recommend improvements
» Plan and carry out purchase and replenishment of spare parts of electrical and control equipment
» Administering contracts for the operation and maintenance of electrical and control equipment &nbs p;
» Enforce permit-to-work system and safe work culture
» Supervise contractors’ work for quality and safety Requirements
» Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or Power Engineering
» Entry level candidates are welcome
» Good technical background and strong analytical expertise
» expertise in solid waste management would be an advantage
» Candidates with good expertise in key electrical and control systems deployed in waste-to-energy or power generation facilities such as electrical transmission/distribution systems, distributed control systems and field instruments are preferred
» Proficient in Microsoft Office
» Mature, independent, resourceful, and a good team player
» Good interpersonal communication
» Able to work at waste-to-energy facilities
» Able to execute rotating shift work over public holidays and weekend if necessary
