Opportunity We are looking for an individual to join us in our C3 Development Programme Centre where you will be part of the Design Innovation Team in designing next-generation digital technologies that will transform defence and security operations, and ensure services for servicemen are more convenient and seamless. The role will require you to:
- Adopt a human-centric approach and collaborate closely with product owners, engineers and stakeholders to solve complex challenges and build new capabilities
- Conduct user research using focus groups, field observations, interviews, questionnaires, co-creation workshops, benchmark studies and lab studies
- Participate in the design and development of state-of-the-art software systems
- Design the information architecture, interface and interaction flow of user experiences
- Create wireframes, detailed visual mock ups and interactive/working prototypes to communicate system features and interaction behaviours
Requirements - Diploma in Computer Science, Human Factors Engineering, Human Computer Interface, Cognitive System Engineering, Visual Design, Industrial Design, User Experience Design or equivalent
- Knowledge of wireframing and prototyping tools such as Axure, Balsamiq and Invision, plus visual design tools such as Sketch, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Knowledge of the latest technologies such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, AngularJS, Jquery etc.
- Familiar with user experience design work demonstrating user-centric processes and excellent visual design sense
- Ability to work in an agile development environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good analytical and creative problem-solving skills
