As Head (Development Master Plan), you will plan and lead the activities of the Business Architecture team in the Enterprise Architecture Division (EAD) to translate business strategies and outcomes into actionable plans and projects that the Information, Application and Technical Architects require for development of ICT systems that enable business capabilities.
You will be placed in the Home Team Specialist Scheme.
JOB EXPECTATIONS You are expected as Head (Development Master Plan) to:
- Engage business owners to understand the business models, strategies and desired outcomes needed to support SPF's mission and vision;
- Identify, adapt and apply relevant best practices from Enterprise Architecture frameworks, e.g. TOGAF, for adoption in SPF's Enterprise Architecture methodology;
- Guide business owners throughout their Business Process Re-engineering journey to ensure that their activities leverage off SPF's Enterprise Architecture methodology;
- Manage projects to support delivery of business capabilities;
- Identify and develop core competencies and tools to support Business Architecture capability in EAD;
- Collaborate with architects in Information Architecture, Application Architecture and Technical Architecture teams to continually refine and improve SPF's EA methodology;
- Support Ministry HQ in the implementation of Ministry-wide Enterprise Architecture initiatives
You may be assigned other tasks as required by the Assistant Director, Enterprise Architecture Division.
REQUIREMENTS - Computer Science or Information Technology, Electronics, Communications Engineering or other equivalent engineering courses;
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in related IT fields;
- Prior experience in software design and development, systems engineering, project management or Enterprise Architecture related jobs is preferred;
- Certification in relevant Enterprise Architecture frameworks, e.g. TOGAF Level 1 and Level 2, Zachman Certified - Enterprise Architect Associate/Practitioner etc. would be an advantage;
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Information Technology Project Manager (CITPM) certification would be an advantage;
- Ability to multi-task whilst working under extreme pressure and tight deadlines;
- Possess good communication, writing and interpersonal skills
