Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION Position Summary
Provides CAD mechanical design skills in product development and modification.
tasks & Job responsibilities:
» Performs engineering work related to configuring, deploying, maintaining and upgrading of 2D drawings and 3D models for parts and assemblies.
» Defines engineering drawings with appropriate tolerances, symbols related to Part Design, CTQs and/or Tool specifications according to procedural standards.
» Performs part measurements and dimensional verifications
» Provides technical support for plastics injection molding related activities. Qualifications & Requirements:
» Possess Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical, CAD Design or Manufacturing Engineering, with minimum 3 years of significant practice.
» Proficient in SolidWorks 2D Mechanical Drawings & 3D CAD Modeling
» Good expertise in Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) standards
» expertise in SolidWorks Professional (PhotoView 360) for 3D rendering would be an advantage
» Proficiency in plastics forming and assembly technology such as injection molding, extrusion, plastics assembly and/or mold design would be an advantage.
» practice in qualification of molds and molded components would be an advantage.
