Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION Job Position : Claims Manager

In this position, you will join to manage and lead the claims executive team and ensure operationally efficient and effective in claims department.
Job responsibilities : » Ensure team is performing effectively and efficiently through driving and implementing work improvement and service excellence initiatives
» Ensure all claims departmental activities adhere to policy/guideline and complies with all laws, regulatory provisions and group policies
» Meet all contractual obligations and expectation for claims as per agreed contract with clients• Drive service excellence, change management and work improvement initiatives
» Continually review, develop and implement efficient and effective Best Practices work systems
» Ensure compliance with all laws, regulatory provisions and group policies
» Review, assess and approve escalated medical claims within service turnaround time
» Attend to claims investigation and escalations
» Handle enquires from internal and external parties
» Manage everyday operations of claims team (including off shore team)
» Timely reporting of agreed service level agreement
» Perform any ad hoc tasks as required
Job requirement : » Bachelor Degree or equivalent
» At least 5 years of broad practice in claims process and managing claims department in a private healthcare insurance industry
» practice in developing and implement Best Practices work systems for the team
» Understand and familiar with compliance and regulatory provisions requirements.
» practice in handling, reviewing and assessing medical claims and handling escalation in efficient manner
» capability and practice in bulk handling of claims process
» Well organized and good in numbers and administration expertise
» Good interpersonal and communication expertise
» Demonstrate leadership abilities, responsibility, accountcapability and independence
