JOB DESCRIPTION Summary of role: As a Corporate Communications Senior Manager, you will undertake the strategic development and execution of holistic integrated communications strategies that support the organisation's initiatives to enhance engagement with leading companies and innovative startups in the Healthcare and HealthTech space.
Resopnsibilities:
- Develop and execute effective and comprehensive communications strategies to enhance the organisation’s brand, increase mindshare of IHiS’ innovations and role to transform healthcare, as well as to deepen our collaborations with the industry to fulfil our mission
- Proactive media and stakeholder engagement and cultivation to profile IHiS and leverage multiple platforms to strengthen the organisation's brand in local and international media
- Manage communications platforms and produce engaging content for industry target audiences including newsletters, EDMs, videos, thought leadership articles, to attract partner participation in industry programmes
- Support in organising of events from conceptualisation to implementation to achieve the organisation’s objectives and ensure positive participant experience
- Develop media and/or event materials including, but not limited to, media releases, speeches, and responses to media queries
- Identify valuable opportunities to communicate key messages, enhance the organisation’s brand, and engage stakeholders
- Manage, monitor and analyse campaign effectiveness to improve outcome of projects
- Manage and mentor officers who will be reporting to this role (if relevant)
Requirements: - A degree in a relevant discipline covering areas such as mass communications or media studies
- Candidates with 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in a communications role, with experience in healthcare/technology industry communications will be advantageous
- Excellent proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written
- Good knowledge of the local media landscape and current affairs
- Good communications and interpersonal skills, and emotional sensitivity
- Independent, motivated and able to multi-task in a dynamic environment
- A team player with the ability to handle pressure under tight deadlines.
