Description Our clients, established Healthcare institutions in Singapore, are looking for experienced Clinical Orthoptist (Office hours)!
Responsibilities: - Provide diagnostic and treatment services for patients with vision defects involving incorrect eye movements and positions, such as 'lazy eye' or amblyopia, binocular vision and 'squinting' or strabismus.
- Involved in general orthoptic examination and paediatric ophthalmology sessions
- Carry out visual acuity checks, sensory and motor evaluation of squints, refraction, amblyopia diagnosis, counselling and orthoptic treatment
- Opportunities for active participation in teaching and research projects.
Requirements: - Min Bachelor's Degree in Applied Sciences (Orthoptics)
- Able to communicate well with children of different age groups
- Possess good communication and patient-relations skills
- Able to work independently as well as in a team
- Location: West / Central / North
- Office hours, 5.5 days (alternate Saturdays)
