Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities
The candidate will provide timely and efficient support to the Corporate Communications Office, with core tasks in the publications and media relations sections. tasks include:
» Media relations support, e.g. monitoring the media, archiving news clippings and uploading news releases
» Administrative support for the production of university publications and collaterals, including managing mailing databases, distribution channels and inventories
» Purchasing and managing contracts and subscriptions with vendors that include design houses, printers and media companies.
» Recruitment and management of student helpers; processing of student claims
Requirements » Polytechnic diploma or GCE A Levels
» practice in office administration or a supporting corporate communications function (not essential but preferred)
» IT-savvy, with good computer expertise and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic Adobe software
