Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION » Plan, organize, supervise, motivate and evaluate department operations and staff performance by planning/developing, assigning, coordinating, and reviewing work of staff.
» Responsible for hiring new staff, conducting orientation, and ensuring staff development by conducting in-service training programs.
» Maintain and secure all written and electronic medical records within MRO or its equivalent and to ensure that the records are accessible to authorized personnel.
» Ensure that the software system and processes meet and comply with the business goals and objectives, accrediting and regulating agency requirements.
» Process patients’ medical records. Ensure patient discharge case notes are collected, processed, scanned and archived after discharge.
» Implement and review policy framework in records management policies, workflow, Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures to meet or exceed administrative, legal and regulatory requirements.
» Monitor clinical compliance with adopted standards, and SOPs and implement measures to address non-compliance.
