Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION 1. Implement the Community Care Emergency Preparedness (EP) Programme:
» Develop and review initiatives to enhance the sector's capabilities in emergency preparedness
» Identify and work with appointed partners to deliver the initiatives
» Establish and review funding support for the various initiatives
» Monitor, track and report programme results
» Work with Ministry of Health (MOH) to co-ordinate the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Stockpile support for the sector
» Support the Haze Co-ordinating Committee (which includes managing of responses by providers for other emerging contingencies like Zika, MERS etc.)
» Programme administration including procurement of EP consultants, administering funding support, liaising with MOH, etc.
2. Perform secretariat tasks for the Shared Procurement Programme(SPP)
» Arrange for meetings, clearing agenda, presentation slides
» Provide inputs and recommendations to SPP Committee Chair for various approvals
» Work with Agency for Logistics and Procurement Services (ALPS) to monitor and resolve compliance issues
3. Assist with events and other platforms to build and sustain a quality improvement culture in the sector.
4. Continuously find ways to improve processes within the department and division.
5. Undertake any other tasks as directed by your managers.
» Degree with at least 1 - 2 years of work practice and preferably significant working practice in emergency preparedness or organizational development work.
» Good project management expertise and meticulous.
» Analytical with good interpersonal and written communication expertise.
» Able to work well independently and in a team.
» Proactive and self-motivated, with the capability to adapt well to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
