JOB DESCRIPTION Job Summary
In line with corporate strategic direction, the Sales Manager is responsible for conceptualizing, developing and executing programs that enhance the company’s relationship with its independent Distributor including, but not limited to, training, recognition, and motivational programs, so that they can effectively promote USANA’s products and business opportunity.
tasks and Responsibilities (In Order of Importance)
Essential » Manages all of related sales and marketing activities including management of sales trend, communication with Distributors.
» Maintains close contact with independent Distributor, and in particular with identified leaders, including IDC members, to enhance their sense of belonging to the USANA family.
» Identifies emerging leaders and assists them to grow through monitoring, counseling and encouragement. Keeps them abreast of company news and directions.
» Puts together and executes a yearly training program for Distributors at different level of skill and seniority with the company.
» In conjunction with the Marketing Department, organizes prospecting events, such as product launches, health fairs and “open days”, which enhance opportunities for Distributors to invite friends to know USANA.
» Plans and executes recognition and incentive programs that compensate associates’ prosperous behavior, from congratulatory calls and lapel pins for rank advancements, up to annual Awards Ceremonies, local and foreign incentive trips, and regional incentive programs. Monitors spending against budget figures.
» Documents all sales activities with primary purpose of increasing the number of Distributorship.
» Analyses Distributor group sales trends by the down-line that making Distributor-line’ sales report.
» Monitors the results of promotional campaigns and shares ideas and best practices with USANA Sales Managers in other countries.
» Provides timely and accurate feedback on industry and competitive situation to senior management.
» Handles Distributors’ complaints of related sales promotion & all kind of issues by Distributors.
» Partners with the Customer Service frontline teams in ensuring that optimum service level is provided and that feedback and complaints from Associates are addressed in the best interest of the company and the associates.

» Maintains high degree of confidentiality.
» Builds good working relationship with functional teams to clear internal job-related Sales and marketing teams’ working files.
» Advocates better communication among staff & distributors.
» Be able to travel domestically and internationally on weekends and nights as required at company/distributor events.
» Performs other tasks or ad hoc projects as assigned or needed.
Qualifications/expertise, expertise & Abilities Requirements
» Must have at least a bachelor degree in business, marketing, communications or related field.
» Minimum 6 years of significant practice, of which 3 years at managerial/managery level.
» High proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin and is able to present in public seminar in those languages. expertise of other languages or dialects will be advantageous.
» Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, especially PowerPoint and excel.
» Pleasant, out-going with good interpersonal and presentation expertise.
» Must be detail-oriented and results-oriented, have good organization expertise and able to work effectively in a team environment.
» Effectively and efficiently perform all essential job tasks and responsibilities with or without direct manager and without posing a direct safety threat to others or self.
